The Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese (the CISVA) operates 46 schools – 40 elementary and 6 high schools. ABOUT
Based in North Vancouver, St. Pius X Elementary School is a Catholic community dedicated to developing reverence, respect and responsibility within each child, using Christ as our centre. It is our goal to assist each child in their intellectual, physical, social, artistic and emotional growth while developing Christian leaders, responsible citizens and lifelong learners through academic standards, extensive extra-curricular and co-curricular programs, and a vibrant faith-based community.
JOB DESCRIPTION
St. Pius X School is seeking a practicing Catholic to teach our Grade 7 students daily Christian Education class, as well as help prepare the students for the sacrament of Confirmation. This is a 0.15 teaching position.
In addition to work with the school pastor, parish PREP. teacher, principal and Grade 7 teacher, the individual would be responsible for communicating details with the families of the students.

On an on-going basis, we accept teacher applications for grade levels K to 12 for our Catholic schools throughout the Greater Vancouver Area and Powell River in beautiful British Columbia. All Catholics, non-Catholics, new education grads, and experienced teachers from across Canada are strongly encouraged to apply.
