Job Description

Overview:

The primary function for the post-holder will be to coordinate all accommodation aspects for the adult colleges. They will have the overview of all accommodation bookings, ensure that suitable provisions are made and maintain a great working relationship with accommodation providers. The post holder will have strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow defined processes and procedures.

Duties of the role include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
• Ensure homestay providers are made aware of all homestay enquiries/bookings and notify the admissions coordinators of homestay details being confirmed in a timely manner
• Be the point of contact for admissions and sales teams when it comes to any accommodation requests
• Have the overview of all nominated rooms and inform the Admissions and Accommodation Manager of any voids in advance so that a plan to fill them can be formulated and revenue is maximised
• Source ad hoc residential options when allocated rooms are full
• Work with providers and college teams to ensure complaints are limited and quality of accommodation provided to students is the best in the industry
• Liaise with admissions for any pre-arrival issues/changes, support colleges with any issues post-arrival
• Deal effectively with arising challenges, resolving complaints and escalating issues to the Admissions and Accommodation Manager
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Specific Role Requirements
• 2+ years’ experience in accommodation and/or hospitality
• IT proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Fluent in English

Desired Experience/Skills:
• Previous experience in education sector would be advantageous
