Job description
Poggenpohl Group UK Ltd is looking to appoint an Accounts Assistant, to provide support to the Financial Controller.

Founded in 1+82, the small cabinet maker’s shop has evolved into the leading brand for German-made luxury kitchen architecture.
The ideal candidate would be a self-motivated individual who has the ability to work independently using their own initiative. You should have excellent attention to detail & excel spreadsheet experience is essential.
You will be covering all aspects of the day-to-day accounts reporting directly to the Financial Controller. Your key responsibilities will include:
Purchase ledger (in conjunction with part time support already in place)
· Inputting invoices into accounts software / CRM system
· Dealing with supplier queries
· Supplier statement reconciliations
· Weekly payment run by bacs
Sales ledger
· Sales invoicing, retail and contract
· Credit control
· Preparing ad-hoc sales invoices
· Managing IRP (Dealer) invoice processing and credit control
Accounts assistance
· Balance sheet reconciliations
· Bank reconciliations
· Preparing CIS deduction statements & records for review & submission
· Weekly cash and sales reporting
· Assisting with month end processing & reporting
· Processing employees’ business expense claims
· VAT return preparation
· Other ad hoc duties
Experience of SAP would be preferable, but not essential for the right candidate.
We are looking for a team player who is confident communicating with staff, suppliers & clients both by phone, e-mail & in person.
