Account Executive – USAF
Job Location: Flexible depending on final Account Set
Status: Full-time, Exempt
GAI is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our team, focusing on the U.S. Air Force. This role will primarily cover key commands and the associated locations for ACC, AMC, AFCENT, and AETC. Actual account set will be based on the hired candidate’s qualifications and experience. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of this account space, proven experience in this account set for at least the last three years, and established relationships with key decision-makers within these commands.
Job Description & Work Responsibilities (Tasks include but are not limited to the following):
Develop and execute strategic account plans for the assigned account set to drive business growth and revenue.
Leverage existing relationships with key decision-makers to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Cultivate relationships with stakeholders in target agencies to better understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals that meet the nuanced requirements of the USAF.
Stay updated on Federal regulations, policies, and trends relevant to the USAF, and anticipate their impact on business strategies.
Conduct regular meetings and presentations to educate clients on our portfolio of services and solutions.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings with Federal stakeholders.
Exceed established sales objectives in the assigned account set.
Qualifications/Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
Established relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in relevant Federal accounts.
Strong understanding of the Federal procurement process and Defense Acquisition Regulations.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively within a team.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Department of Defense sales, with a proven track record in USAF accounts.
