Are you an experienced Account Manager or Business Development Manager with a background in building products or construction sales?

If you’ve worked with residential home builders and know what it takes to deliver great service and grow accounts, this is your opportunity to step into a rewarding role with a growing business.

We’re DecoRug – a trusted name in the flooring industry. Decorug Builders Division is expanding, and we’re looking for a driven, customer-focused Account Manager to help us grow our footprint with residential builders across NSW.

About the role
Reporting to the Director, you’ll be actively identifying and converting new business opportunities with a view to take ownership of your portfolio of builder clients.

Your responsibilities will include:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with residential builders and their teams
Growing revenue from existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities
Preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and overseeing seamless service delivery
Coordinating with internal DecoRug teams and installers to ensure quality outcomes
Managing site visits, client communications, and all account admin with precision

What you’ll bring
5–7 years in account management or business development
Experience with building products or within the construction industry
A strong track record of building lasting relationships and delivering commercial outcomes
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to manage competing priorities across office-based and on-site work
Proficiency with CRM tolls and Microsoft Office
Experience working with and/or having a network of residential home builders is highly regarded
