Salary Range: ₹30,000 – ₹50,000 per month

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our esteemed diamond jewellery boutique, Jalak, under the Sanbal Group. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of accounting experience, specifically within the jewellery industry. You will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.

Handle accounts payable and receivable, reconciling balances regularly.

Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow.

Taxation and Compliance:

Ensure timely submission of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.

Handle income tax returns and audits.

Inventory and Cost Control:

Track inventory and assist in costing for jewellery items.

Maintain records of raw materials and finished goods.

Payroll and Vendor Management:

Manage payroll processing and employee reimbursements.

Liaise with vendors and ensure timely payments.

System and Process Optimization:

Work on ERP systems for accounting and inventory management.

Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the jewellery industry.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Skills:

Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, ERP systems, or similar).

Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with diamond jewellery inventory and costing.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
