Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our finance team at Voylla. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial tasks, performing cost analysis, and ensuring accurate financial reporting and bookkeeping. The role demands strong calculation skills and advanced knowledge of Excel to effectively manage costs, prepare financial statements, and support business decisions. This individual will play a key role in budgeting, financial planning, and cost control while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cost Analysis & Optimization: Conduct regular cost analysis for different business segments, identify areas for cost reduction, and recommend measures for cost optimization.
• Cost Reporting & Financial Statements: Prepare and present cost reports, variance analysis, profitability reports, and financial statements to management, ensuring they align with accounting principles.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets, track actual costs against budgeted figures, and provide financial forecasts to support business planning.
• Inventory Management & Product Pricing: Monitor inventory costs, analyze material/product cost fluctuations, and collaborate with sales teams to develop accurate pricing strategies.
• Bookkeeping & Financial Record Keeping: Oversee daily financial tasks, including the recording and reconciliation of financial transactions.
• Audit Support & Compliance: Support internal and external audits, ensuring financial records comply with company policies and financial regulations.
• Advanced Excel Usage: Utilize advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis tools) to manage cost data, perform calculations, and generate reports.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams such as finance, procurement, production, and sales to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to support financial analysis, decision-making, and forecasting.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, or related accounting roles.
• Proficient in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and budgeting processes.
• Experience with inventory management and cost auditing.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in manufacturing or inventory-based industries is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial team members.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
