Accountant

Summary

As an Accountant at TRS Staffing Solutions, you will be working with a leading Renewable Energy producer in Bangalore. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting the Accounts Payable function to process payments and related activities, and collaborating with the Entity management team, Entity controllers, and Project controller for accurate bookkeeping and smooth functioning of finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Banking and Compliance

* Liaise with bankers and internal teams to understand deliverables, assign responsibilities, and close bank-related tasks. This includes account opening, signatory changes, changes in business structure, KYC updates, etc.

* Prepare internal documentation, obtain consents/documents/internal approvals as required. Understand requirements and fill out bank forms/declarations/documents for execution.

* Collaborate with Legal/Finance teams to review specific documents requiring special consideration (e.g., indemnities, schedule of charges).

* Communicate and follow up on bank-related tasks and ensure timely closure.

Accounts Payable

* As a member of the Accounts Payable team, you will be responsible for performing sub-processes, including invoice posting, purchase order creation, payments, vendor master data management. Investigate and resolve problems associated with processing invoices, purchase orders, and invoice payments.

* Prepare manual payment instructions and ensure timely payment processing while adhering to company policies and vendor terms. Ensure vendor master, including bank details, is up-to-date and correct.

* Lead callback procedures with vendors if required while releasing payment. Review invoice trackers or historical payment data to avoid duplicate payments.

Qualifications and Experience

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are mandatory. Graduation in Commerce or equivalent with 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable (P2P) processes.

* Preference given to candidates with knowledge of corporate banking requirements and experience working in the energy, power, utilities, industrial sector.
