Job Description
• Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sales, re ceipts, and payments.
• Enter financial data into accounting software or ledger systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Organize and maintain the general ledger, the core accounting record that summarizes all financial transactions.
• Classify and post transactions to appropriate accounts, ensuring proper categorization.
• Manage accounts payable functions.
• Process and record invoices, monitor payment due dates, and ensure timely payment to vendors.
• Oversee accounts receivable processes.
• Create and send invoices to customers, track payments, and follow up on overdue payments.
• Reconcile bank statements with company records.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between the bank statement and the company's financial records
• Monitor and record business expenses (Credit Card Expenses).
• Track receipts, categorize expenses, and ensure that expenses align with budgetary guidelines.
• Generate financial reports.
• Prepare financial statements, including the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement, for internal and external reporting.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Organize and maintain financial records.
• Establish and maintain an organized system for financial documents, including invoices, receipts, and statements.
• Communicate financial information with Stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as management or department heads, to provide financial updates and address queries.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Monitor and follow timesheets to ensure timely processing of invoices
