Accountant

REsponsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. This role involves a variety of tasks, including data entry, reconciliation, and analysis.



Key Responsibilities:



Financial Record Keeping:

Accurately record financial transactions in the accounting system.
Maintain and update financial records, including invoices, receipts, and bank statements.
Prepare and process payroll.
Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements.


Financial Reporting:



Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential issues.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.


Tax Compliance:



Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
Prepare and file tax returns (corporate, income, sales, etc.).
Assist with tax audits.


Internal Controls:



Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial information.
Review and improve accounting processes and procedures.


Financial Analysis:



Analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to management.
Assist with financial planning and decision-making.


Qualifications and Skills:



Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Busy)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
