Job description
Accounting/Finance - Accountant 2 – Northrop Grumman - Bloomington MN Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports. Maintains or oversees the control of accounts and records in such areas as disbursements, expenses, tax payments, and income. Compiles and analyzes financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, and review and verify accuracy. Prepares balance sheet and profit and loss statements, consolidated financial statements, and other accounting schedules and reports. May design, modify, install, and/or maintain accounting systems to ensure an adequate recognition of financial transactions. Responsible for the adherence to and communication of accounting and auditing policies and procedures. Qualifications:
• Superior excel skills
• Desirable – experience in Fixed Assets /Deltek/ Costpoint and/or journal entries and account reconciliations Note – The client is has a very large Fixed Asset project they are working on so we either need to fill the need of Superior Excel skills to support that or we need to fill the role of the person on the team supporting the project which is in Fixed Assets. 5600 American Blvd W, Minneapolis, MN 55437
