Job Title: Office Accountant
Location: Coimbatore

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Office Accountant to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our company. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Zoho Books and Tally, and will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, managing invoicing and payments, and supporting overall office accounting functions. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a small business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily accounting tasks including data entry, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations
• Handle accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
• Generate and manage invoices, credit notes, and receipts in Zoho Books
• Record and reconcile transactions in Tally
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports
• Maintain proper documentation of all accounting records and ensure timely filing
• Assist with tax filings, GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance
• Coordinate with external auditors and consultants as needed
• Support general office administration related to accounting and finance
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field
• 0 to 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a small or mid-sized company
• Proficiency in Zoho Books and Tally ERP is a must
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances
• Good Excel skills and familiarity with other office software tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
Preferred:
• Experience in handling payroll and petty cash
• Familiarity with other Zoho applications (Zoho CRM, Zoho Inventory)
• Spoken and written fluency in English and [local language]
