Meaningful Work From Day One
• Responsible for the overall accuracy and integrity of our financials across our IMENA entities making sure our books comply with both US GAAP, local statutory requirements and management reporting
• Perform the Record to Report (R2R) function in IMENA which includes closing, balance sheet recon, cash flow management and tax compliance work under its own distribution model in a timely and accurate manner.
• Business partnering with IMENA Commercial and Finance teams on any business decision making and ad hoc projects
• Establish local policies and a solid internal control environment in IMENA region
• Improve accounting process efficiency and effectiveness where there are opportunities
What Exactly Are We Looking For?
Core Functions
• Costing and Inventory
Perform invoice receipt for importation in SAP.
Run material ledger for COGS/inventory allocation.
Perform COGS Payment and accrual (include label, delivery fee, consumption tax and tariff).
Perform inventory balance review and provision.
Be the point of contact for India costing and inventory queries.
• Operation tax related work
Handle VAT, TDS and Excise related matters timely and correctly by partnering with our tax agent.
Complete CIT provision in OneSource quarterly.
Be the point of contact for tax queries.
• Procure to Pay (P2P)
Maintain vendor master data.
Prepare vendor payments requests and record in SAP and related administration.
Respond to any ad hoc banking requests such as providing remittance receipt to customers.
Marketing and sales support on payments queries.
