Qualifications
Our client is looking for someone with 3+ years of experience, organized, and independent
Associate’s degree in accounting and/or 3+ years of equivalent experience
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and complete projects timely and with minimal supervision
Strong Microsoft and QuickBooks experience
High attention to detail
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills

Our client is an organization in the Dane County area looking for an Accounting Assistant. Our client is looking for someone with 3+ years of experience, organized, and independent. This company offers a hard-working team, high visibility, and competitive benefits. This position is onsite.

The salary for this position is $55k.

The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide payroll processing activities for clients.
• Print and assemble income tax returns for delivery to the client.
• Schedule client appointments and employee meetings and order food as requested.
• Greet visitors, provide beverages, and direct them to seating.
• Open and distribute incoming mail and process outgoing mail.
• Maintain and order office supplies as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Accounting Assistant will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Associate’s degree in accounting and/or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and complete projects timely and with minimal supervision.
• Industry related experience a plus.
• Strong Microsoft and QuickBooks experience.
• High attention to detail.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
