Responsibilities
The person in this role will report to the North America Regional Controller
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing general ledger accounting for employment costs and Cash including month end close and quarter end reporting, account variance analysis; as well as overseeing the planning and budgeting for Benefits
Manage monthly close activities including journal entry preparation and approval as well as general ledger review and reconciliations
Oversee the general ledger accounting for all employee benefits, payroll and pension
Oversee NNA Management Cash Flow
Identify ways to provide the business information they need in an easy-to-understand format and in a timeframe that is helpful to decision making
Enhance the use of OneStream and serve as a resource and subject matter expert
Initiate process improvements to support business partners by identifying areas that can streamlined; provide change management leadership and serve as a support resource for these process enhancements
Prepare, reconcile, and report all debt related activity
Work with master data on the creation and changes in the ERP
Oversee Cash management including factoring
Manage a team of accountants, as well as collaborating with the entire team, assisting in resolving accounting discrepancies and issues, when needed
Develop strong effective relationships with business partners such as FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Benefits, payroll and the regional accounting teams
Provide management support on preparation and review of quarterly financial reporting and SOX documentation and testing
Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure a successful audit
Recommends and implements process improvement opportunities and system enhancements that will increase efficiency and/or mitigate risk for the organization
Work on special projects and analysis as needed, including assistance with any ad hoc reporting requests and other requests as required

Position Overview:

The NNA Controllership team is seeking an Accounting Leader. The person in this role will report to the North America Regional Controller. Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, CPA or CPA track highly preferred
• Minimum of 8 years accounting experience
• High level of motivation and self-driven individual
• Knowledge of US GAAP guidance
• Experience with SAP and Oracle Financials; experience with Hyperion and OneStream a plus
• Proficiency with MS Office
