Ensure that we provide consistent, compliant, and top-quality accounting services to Troon managed facilities and their stakeholders. Establish standard operating procedures, provide training, and facilitate Shared Accounting transitions. Directly manage the team based at our Seattle, WA corporate office. Lead the staff, direct work, and drive Shared Accounting’s strategy and growth planning initiatives.
Essential Duties:
Manage client accounting operations; lead the team that supports Troon’s managed facilities with their full-cycle accounting. Identify and implement ways to optimize operations in the areas of quality, efficiency and timeliness.
Lead the development of our associates; plan and direct work; engage in active performance management and career path development.
Serve as a technical resource; lead team in ensuring reporting is aligned with GAAP and in compliance with other regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with fellow leaders to develop and deploy strategies related to quality of services, technology, and internal controls. Establish SOPs that clearly define division of responsibilities amongst team roles for each Shared Accounting service tier.
Develop and execute plans related to employee retention, cross-training, and recruiting.
Implement and monitor compliance with standard operating procedures that reflect the Company’s service standards.
Oversee accounting transitions for new contracts; collaborate with company transition leaders to coordinate a smooth and thorough integration process.
Make visits to managed properties and regional offices on a periodic basis.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting or finance; and 4-6 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Travel:
Approximately 10% travel
Certificates/Licenses:
CPA Preferred, But Not Required

Strong technical knowledge related to GAAP

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
Accounting software applications experience
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations experience a plus
Benefits & Compensation:
$115,000-125,000 (dependent on experience)
