About NDK Constructions
NDK Constructions is a well-established builder in South Australia, specialising in both residential and commercial projects. Our expertise spans new home constructions, renovations, commercial fit-outs, aged care facility refurbishments, and general insurance work. We are seeking a meticulous Accounts and Administrative Officer to oversee our financial operations and contribute to the smooth running of our office.
Role Overview
As the Accounts and Administrative Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing NDK Constructions' financial activities and supporting office operations. Your key responsibilities will include reconciling accounts, managing our Xero file, handling payments to suppliers, contractors, and employees, and assisting project managers with invoicing and aged debtor management. Additionally, you’ll handle various administrative tasks such as ordering job-related appliances and fixtures, creating document templates, arranging project photoshoots, and maintaining organised files.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify and upload invoices to Dext and manage accounts email.
Track expenses, process payments, and perform account reconciliations.
Prepare financial statements.
Complete daily wrap-ups, including employee hours and job images.
Manage employee reimbursements and invoicing for insurance jobs.
Assist with project tenders and order appliances/fixtures as needed.
Handle additional tasks as required.
Required Skills and Experience:
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency with Xero and Dext.
Experience with Pay.com and insurance builder portals preferred.
Familiarity with office software (Outlook, Dropbox, WhatsApp).
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Building industry experience is a plus but not mandatory.
