Accounts and Finance Manager

A Finance and Accounts Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating financial activities within an organisation. They ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, effective budget management, and strategic financial planning.

Responsibilities
• Financial Reporting:
• financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and maintain up-to-date financial records.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Develop and manage budgets, monitor variances, and provide insights into financial performance.

• Strategic Financial Planning:
• Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies aligned with business goals.

• Cash Flow Management:
• Monitor cash flow to ensure liquidity and support operational needs.
• Implement strategies to optimise cash management and working capital.
• Financial Analysis:
• Conduct financial analysis to evaluate business performance, trends, and areas for improvement.
• Provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Internal Controls and Compliance:
• Establish and enforce financial controls to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
• Tax Planning and Compliance:
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations.

• Team Management:
• Supervise and lead the finance and accounting team, providing guidance and support.

• Vendor and Supplier Relations:
• Manage relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and financial institutions.

Qualifications And Skills
• CA or master's degree in finance, accounting or MBA Finance experience of about 4-6 years
• Professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) can be advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
