About the job

We are looking for an accounts assistant (male/female).-Fluent English

Key responsibilities:

1. Pass day-to-day bank, cash, payment, receipt, etc. entries in tally and maintain Excel summary for the same
2. Prepare monthly BRC statements of the bank
3. See day-to-day expenses and make vouchers for approvals
4. Pass petty cash entries
5. Make statutory payment- TDS, GST filling of returns
6. Work on Excel and Tally with good knowledge of accounts
7. Prepare letters and reply to emails and communicate with clients
8. Handle office administration work like attendance, statutory register, etc.
+. Do all office day-to-day activity-dealing with suppliers, vendors, owners, and business associates
10. Organize and schedule meetings and appointments of owners
11. Look after office AMC, membership, and insurance renewals
12. Read and respond to emails and letters and phone calls
13. Arrange air travel and visas if required, book hotels and transport of the owner, and organize and maintain an appointment diary

Requirements:

1. Minimum graduate degree in any stream
2. B.Com would be preferred
3. Minimum 1-2 years experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills, good English, and good computer skills in Tally
4. Proficiency in Microsoft office suite, word excel, and PowerPoint and willing to multi-task, and is flexible and willing to learn, to join our team based in Mumbai at Nariman Point
5. To be prepared and willing to do any work/assignment as given by the management
6. Should know how to communicate politely but firmly with clients, vendors, suppliers, and business partners/associates
7. Should have knowledge of obtaining and comparing quotations in Excel of suppliers and vendors and present to directors/accounts team
8. Should know how to handle office front desk and staff and outside administration work
+. Must have knowledge of organizing meetings and appointments for owners/directors and meet and greet visitors in a pleasant manner
10. Should be flexible and willing to do any work/assignment as given by the management
11. Should know how to perform front desk/reception duties
12. Must have knowledge and experience in maintaining office records and filing systems
