Job description
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Fresno, California. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth financial operations within our organization. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, your main responsibility is to manage and process insurance and utility bills, keep track of customer records, and handle any customer inquiries.
Responsibilities
• Efficiently process insurance bills, utility bills, and insurance forms.
• Develop and maintain a streamlined system to enhance team communication and improve our bottom line.
• Maintain accurate customer credit records using tools such as MS Excel and Sage Intacct.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
• Resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts and payments.
• Collaborate with the team to organize and improve current processes.
• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable.
• Prepare and maintain all accounts payable reports and spreadsheets.
• Regularly review and reconcile invoice discrepancies.
• Assist in month-end closing processes.
