Job description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Stamford, Connecticut. The role is within a dynamic team where you will have the chance to advance and grow your career. Responsibilities for this role include processing checks and expense reports, managing daily department mail, and supporting the AP/Finance Department by completing various administrative tasks.Responsibilities:• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely and efficient manner• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly• Manage and distribute daily department mail • Assist with internal and external audits as required• Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners• Operate full-cycle Accounts Payable procedures• Ensure daily processes and controls are correctly and punctually executed, adhering to company policies• Handle validation, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling• Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents• Process payments made in foreign currencies
