We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a role based in Foxboro, Massachusetts, United States. This role is crucial to our finance department, where you will be tasked with managing and processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and maintaining excellent relations with vendors and company associates. This role provides an exciting opportunity for someone skilled in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, and NetSuite.
Responsibilities
• Accurately match store receiving logs to vendors’ invoices to ensure correct processing.
• Verify the receipt of material or services/confirmation of receipt of material or services to maintain accurate records.
• Ensure the accuracy of employee reimbursement expenses prior to processing.
• Daily entering of invoices into ERP system (MS Dynamics GP) for payments, ensuring correct approval, coding, and matching.
• Reconcile vendor statements to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
• Coordinate with vendors and stores regarding invoicing and payment inquiries and discrepancies.
• Arrange monthly payments to landlords, including rent and adjustments.
• Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner, maintaining excellent relations with vendors and company associates.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for questions and dispute resolution for other members of the Accounts Payable team.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures to maintain the integrity of our operations.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)
• Hands-on experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices
• Strong Data Entry skills
• Familiarity with Invoice Processing procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with NetSuite software
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
