Job description
Do you have experience in managing Accounts Payable operations? We have an exciting 6-month opportunity with an expanding international retail group headquartered in central London!
Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily operations of the Purchase Ledger department, including AP functions, invoice processing, BACS payments, and expenses
• Lead and guide a team of two to ensure timely and accurate task completion
• Maintain accuracy of financial records and reconcile daily bank statements
• Prepare weekly AP cash flow forecasts and manage foreign currency and international payments
• Track and reconcile invoice statements and perform monthly AP ledger reconciliations
• Analyze 6-monthly payment statistics and generate reports
• Assist with ad hoc reporting and analysis tasks
Requirements:
• Demonstrated supervisory experience in AP operations
• Strong knowledge of AP Ledger and exceptional attention to detail
• Experience in FMCG, retail, or fashion industry would be advantageous
• Proficiency in Excel (intermediate level) and excellent communication skills
