Accounts Receivable Clerk

Your responsibilities:
Preparation of invoices, receipting payments
Inter-company AR, clearing account ,sub-ledger reconciliations
Designated accounts receivables tracking
Preparation of AR related journal entries
Follow up with customers including statement preparation and customer call outs
Chargeback follow up and reconciling
Update and maintain account information and utility customer databases
Cross training with Accounts Payable and General Ledger, providing assistance as needed
Perform cashout audits and record daily sales reports, online sales
Review, process and record season pass refunds
Process, reconcile and enter company credit card charges
Creating, preparing and analyzing statistical reports
Ongoing communication with resort accounting teams
Completing bank deposits
Miscellaneous filing and job-related duties as assigned
You:
Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal and are comfortable dealing with customers
Are enthusiastic and passionate for skiing and outdoor adventure
Possess excellent time-management, organization and multi-tasking skills
Maintain the ability to work well under pressure and meet or exceed deadlines
Are highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
Demonstrate a pleasant and professional demeanor
Required Experience:
High school diploma with specialized courses in accounting or possess an accounting certificate
1-2 years experience in accounts receivable will be an asset
Self-starter with ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment
Knowledge of ACCPAC will be an asset
Previous bookkeeping experience will be an asset
