Job Title: Mechanic / Auto Electrician – ADAS Calibration

Location: Bathurst and Surrounding Areas

Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and certified Mechanic or Auto Electrician with experience or a keen interest in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibration. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing ADAS calibrations on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring the systems function accurately and safely. The role requires strong technical knowledge, precision, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform ADAS calibration on various vehicle makes and models to ensure systems are functioning optimally.
Diagnose and repair issues related to vehicle electronics and ADAS components.
Work with a variety of diagnostic tools and calibration equipment to fine-tune systems such as lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and more.
Interpret technical data and vehicle repair manuals to complete accurate calibrations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ADAS technology and calibration procedures.
Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and calibrations completed.
Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Provide support and expertise to colleagues when needed.
Qualifications & Experience:

Cert 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or Cert 3 in Auto Electrical is required.
Previous experience in vehicle electronics or ADAS calibration preferred, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electronic systems.
Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment related to ADAS calibration.
Excellent attention to detail and precision.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
A good understanding of vehicle systems, electronics, and fault-finding.
Desirable Skills:

Experience with ADAS calibration tools such as Bosch, Hella Gutmann, or similar.
Familiarity with calibration software and systems used in modern vehicles.
