Our Windows and Doors division located in Cairns has an excellent opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join the team. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and focused on providing exceptional customer service.
The Role
As our Administration Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations. You’ll also be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing a welcoming and professional presence at our front desk. Reporting to the Office Manager, you’ll provide comprehensive administrative and reception support to various departments.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general administrative duties, including answering phones, managing emails, and handling correspondence.
Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a positive and professional first impression.
Direct incoming calls and inquiries to the appropriate departments.
Develop and maintain knowledge of our products, processes and systems.
Maintain and organise company records, documents, and filing systems.
Assist with data entry, invoicing, and basic bookkeeping tasks.
Providing assistance and product information to customers in the showroom.
About You
To Thrive In This Role, You Should Have
Experience: Previous experience in administration or reception, ideally within a manufacturing or similar environment.
Skills: Strong organisational and time-management abilities, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with V6 or Oracle systems (highly desirable).
Qualities: A keen eye for detail, the ability to multitask effectively, and a positive, problem-solving attitude.
Current driver's license and reliable transport
School leavers with a current driver’s license encouraged to apply
