Employment Type: Full Time Temporary (up to 19 June 2026)
Position Classification: Administration Officer Level 3
Remuneration: $34.46 - $ 35.54 per hour
Hours Per Week: 38 (Job Share may be considered for part time hours)
Location: Westmead Hospital - Immunology Infusion Centre

What you'll be doing
In this role you’ll be supporting the smooth operation of outpatient services through a blend of administrative coordination and quality customer service. You’ll help ensure patients are seen promptly and staff have what they need to succeed.

Coordinating clinic appointments and scheduling
Registering patients and managing waitlists
Supporting Medicare billing and revenue processes
Delivering quality front-desk customer service
Contributing to team goals and office functioning

Selection Criteria:

Proven extensive clerical experience in a busy reception/customer service position.
Evidence of high level verbal and written communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and also as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Expertise in computer skills, proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and Client/Patient Management Systems.
Proven high level organisational skills including the ability to problem solve, prioritise workload, multi-task and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to identify issues of relevance, sensitivity and confidentiality and knowing when to escalate matters of importance and/or urgency.
