What we're looking for...

We’re looking for a motivated individual that can communicate well as part of a team in multi agency working, They should be IT proficient and able to priorotise their workload, experience in a childrens care industry is an advantage but not essential.

Administration Assistants are the first point of contact between the public and Children’s Social Care. You will provide administrative support in our busy Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub within Children’s Social Care. You will have excellent word processing skills and the ability to input data accurately to tight deadlines. You will also have excellent general administrative, telephone and message recording skills. Conscientious, reliable, flexible and able to work as part of a team are key attributes

What it's like working in our team...

The work, which is of a very confidential nature, covers the Children’s Social Care area of our work and will bring you into contact with colleagues in the department and other agencies as well as members of the public.

The post is part time working 18hrs p/w Wednesday to Friday with 1hr for lunch. From 13:00hrs to 17:00hrs Wednesday 0+:00hrs to 17:00hrs Thursday and Friday. This is part of the council Agile working allowing for 50% office based and 50% remote working.

• Booking Meetings
• Any other administration related tasks
