Advanced Nurse Practitioner – Health in Justice
Full Time/Permanent
£50,000 - £57,000 Per Annum DOE
Liverpool – Merseyside
Are you looking for a new opportunity where you can utilise your clinical skills to make a real difference to the lives of patients within health in justice?
This well-establish healthcare provider is looking for a knowledgeable and passionate Advanced Nurse Practitioner to support that Prison Healthcare service in Liverpool. They are a non-for-profit group who are passionate about breaking down health inequalities within the communities that they serve. They work across four key services to provide the upmost care, including Health in Justice, ****** Health, Substance Misuse and Primary Care. They are one of the largest healthcare providers for prison healthcare services in the UK and pride themselves on their outstanding standards of care and service.
As a successful Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you will be working within a Category B prison, providing outstanding levels of care throughout their journey in the service including health assessments, diagnosis and referrals. You will be working collaboratively with a wide multidisciplinary team including GP’s, Pharmacists, Nurses as well as other health care professionals to provide the best outcomes for patients, facilitating safe and effective planning, prescribing and decision-making. Having a real passion for quality patient care and a desire to make a difference to those they care for will be at the heart of the successful candidate.

Requirements for the role
• Registered Nurse with NMC
• MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent
• V300 Non-Medical Prescribing Qualification
• Experience with substance misuse desired but not essential
• Previous experience working within a Primary or Emergency Care setting desired
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

This Prison Service is located in Liverpool, commutable from Birkenhead, Wigan, Warrington, Southport, St Helens, Bootle and Widnes.
