A career as an OTC Project Advisor in the Financial Markets Operations team at National Bank is acting as specialist within OTC Project Reporting. With your trade reporting skills, your operational experience with OTC products, your knowledge of trade reporting regulatory requirements and your interest in conducting analysis and testing, you would have a positive impact on the profitability and business development of the bank.

Your role

Work with key partners including Operations, IT and Compliance to understand regulatory needs and measure impacts on the current solution
Contribute to developing durable solutions that help operationalize regulatory challenges
Document business rules and collaborate with internal and external development teams to update product mappings
Execute tests to validate the functionality, report bugs and errors to development teams and ensure no regression for production activities
Act as an advisory support to the operational team
Maintain appropriate documentation (specification files, procedures, bugs etc.)
Attend industry calls (DTCC, ISDA, etc.)

As part of the Financial Market Operations Project Reporting team, you’ll be on a team of + colleagues and you will report to the OTC Project Reporting Director. Our team stands out for its expertise in building automated solutions, execution and realization of deliverables related to transactional data reporting by collaborating with multiple key partners and by the precision and quality of our work with the different regulators.

You will play an important role in maintaining quality standards, constantly bringing ideas for efficiency, automation and process standardization.

Prerequisites

Bachelor or master degree in finance, business administration, information technology or any related discipline
Minimum of three years of experience in financial markets or a similar role at a financial institution
Strong knowledge of OTC derivatives (swap, options, forward, etc.)
Regulatory knowledge (AMF, CFTC, SEC, etc.) on reporting derivatives to the central repository
Good knowledge of software (JIRA, Murex, Microsoft Excel etc.)
Excellent learning capacity and curiosity
