Based in Melbourne or Bendigo|mainly phone based work
Your role:
The role calls for experienced practitioners to work in a busy service responding to complex after hours matters supporting our 30 residential units, foster carers and any other person needing support from 4:30pm to +am. Shifts can be 4:30pm-1am, 7pm-3.30am, 12.30am-+am or 8.30am-5pm (weekends only) based on a rotating fortnightly roster.
The role is mainly phone based, you need to be able to make complex decisions, offer expert advice and problem solve.
About you
Experience is key, you are making tough decisions over the phone
Previous experience working with young people of all ages
Experience working with young people from traumatic backgrounds, experiencing mental health issues, substance use and other complex behaviours
Calm and resilient
The ability to work effectively with a team to achieve program goals and objectives
