Full job description
Job Summary:
Responsible for directing the process of ensuring spare part and retrofit codes are present in the ordering system in order to best support customer requirements and satisfaction. Supervise reporting team members.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Professional experience in the role or a similar role (at least 5 years)
Previous leadership experience, preferably in multinational context, with similar dimensions, managing after sales activities
Possesses thorough understanding of the industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinates the team for the correct management of spare parts
Provides exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
Monitors and ensures customer satisfaction (e.g. waiting times for product codes to be ordered)
Ensure there is a good flow of communication between R&D and the team
Maintains a solid understanding of company products
Ensure requests for retrofit product codes are processed quickly
Responds to escalated problems or requests from customers
Contribute to the development and revision of standard operating processes
Lead and participate in process improvements under the After Sales areas of responsibilities to include customer service, warehouse, inventory and shipping
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Has authority for personnel actions and oversees most day to day operations of reporting team members
Trains customer service team members in standard work and audit

Safety Requirements:
Required to wear all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas
Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements:
Will be required to perform tasks in an office/remote (extensive sitting at a desk with computer usage). Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
