After School Group Leader-Part-Time - Thousand Oaks, CA

Location: Thousand Oaks Area Elementary Schools

Schedule: Must be available Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 6 pm -No weekends!

Pay & Benefits
• $22-$25/hour (pay is based on education and experience).

Here's what you'll need: Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications for an Afterschool Expanded Learning Specialist I (AELS I) pursuant to the policies of the District.
• High school diploma or an equivalent with an Associate's degree being desirable (A degree in an area of Education highly desirable).
• Experience in a licensed childcare facility.
• Valid California Class C Driver's License.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
• Proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing regulations

As an AlphaBEST Group Leader, you'll be trained to do the following:
• Lead a group of students through exciting adventures in fitness, the arts, technology, and more!
• Work collaboratively with peers to ignite children's sense of wonder.
• Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students' interests and talents.
• Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, and parent relationships are fostered.
