Position Summary:
Are you a skilled AI expert looking for a new challenge? Trend Micro is a world-leading cybersecurity company building AI applications and services and securing them to make the AI-driven world a safer place. As AI applications are increasing becoming popular for their practical uses so do are malicious actors exploiting its vulnerabilities. We are looking for experts to join the Research and Enablement team to advance state of art in securing AI applications. This is a technical role that will require solid foundational math and top-notch programming skills in many areas of AI and ML, including low-level hardware programming skills such as CUDA.
As a Research & Enablement team member you will be:
Prototyping and derisking capabilities that will power a range of use cases
Developing, implementing, documenting and optimizing machine learning algorithms, fine-tuning LLMs, pipelines and workflows
Collaborating with researchers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and drive ambitious agendas
Researching on latest developments AI/ML such as large language models (LLM), re-informcement learning, GPUs, TPUs etc., and sharing your knowledge with the team
Publishing research findings in company research hub, peer-reviewed journals, conferences, and other relevant venues, and present research results
Qualifications:
Expert knowledge in machine learning theory and demonstrated experience with AI/ML applications
Proficiency in Tensorflow, TensorRT, PyTorch, CUDA, numpy, pandas etc.
Experience with Reeinforcement Learning is a bonus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Enables and influences the team by having team-first mindset

For applicants in the province of Ontario: Trend Micro Canada is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary for this role is CAD $105,000.00 - $130,000.00.
