Contract management of contracts with clients and major subcontracts with vendors

Providing legal and contracts support to Project teams engaged in the construction and O&M of city-wide water supply networks & infrastructure; reviewing project contracts, drafting contractual letters and replies, anticipating contractual actions and advising Project teams accordingly.

Reviewing subcontracts, supply contracts, lease agreements, manpower supply agreements, service contracts with vendors and drafting contractual letters and replies.

Claim management

Studying risks and opportunities for Claims and advising project teams on potential claims.

Drafting claim letters, statement of claims, replies etc.

Dispute Resolution

Managing DAB, Arbitration, Writs, Appeals, etc on behalf of the company,

Coordinating with external stakeholders (law firms, counsels) and internal stakeholders

Legal Drafting, etc

Drafting, review and negotiation of Non-Disclosure Agreements, MoUs, Consortium Agreements, Lease Deeds, etc.

Preparing legal opinion on project-related topics, legal and regulatory topics, changes in law, etc.

Reviewing tender documents, FIDIC-based General Conditions of Contract, Particular Conditions of Contracts

Coordination and Reporting

Coordinating between the legal team and the project teams for various legal, contractual and compliance matters

Periodic reporting and event-based prompt reporting of the legal, contractual and compliance matters to the General Counsel on a regular basis

Implementing the Group Legal actions in the region

Educational Qualification:

LLB / Contract Management

Work Experience:

4 to 8 years
