Job Responsibilities

70%
of Time Responsibilities
- Lead the data collection, harmonization & ensure quality of data pertaining to Market Mix models
- This includes & not limited to Nielsen or IRI POS / Retail data, Media Performance data including TV GRPs & Digital Performance data, Promotions data
- Standardize / harmonize the data received & convert into information ready to be input for MMM models
- Perform quality checks to ensure error free data is shared ahead
- Perform data analysis for category forecasting, driver analysis
- Help the modelling team with basic data exploration work

30% Of Time Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Market SPOCs & Media Agency SPOCs to ensure timely collection of data & readiness to be sent for modelling
- Work with Insights Analytics Team & Econometrician to prepare data for Data Review & Preliminary results
- Support the core decision sciences team with data & dashboard visualizations

Education

Minimum Degree Requirements: Bachelors
Preferred Degree Requirements: Masters
Preferred Major Area of Study: Marketing/IT/B.Tech/Economics/Statistics

Experience

Minimum years of related experience required: Analytics experience with retail, media data especially w.r.t data crunching, handling & presentation. FMCG experience a plus but not compulsory
Preferred years of related experience: 3+ years marketing and analytics experience

Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed
- Proficient in use of excel for data crunching & presentation
- Experience of handling market mix modelling data would be preferred
- Past experience in data analysis & model insights
- Keen eye for detail to spot errors & derive insights
- Experience in handling large sets of diverse data sets including quantitative data pertaining to retail, media, digital, promotions
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to use
- Good understanding of Retail & Shipment data
