The role:

Opportunities exist for an Analyst level II to join our team in Kensington. You will be directly responsible for conducting routine sample preparation and food testing. You will also conduct a wide range of tests using manual, semi-automated, and fully automated techniques. If the test is automated you may be required to analyse data and report results.



Your day to day will include but is not limited to:

Receiving, registration weighing and sample preparation
Managing several tests / tasks at once and coordinating with other personnel
Managing contingencies
Operating analytical equipment requiring decisions to be made based on technical knowledge
Assisting with clients courier booking for sample pick up
Communicating sample requirements to other personnel
Choosing and optimising procedures and equipment settings to suit sample/test requirements




What’s needed?

To be successful in this role you will need to possess the following:

Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Science or related discipline (desirable)
Hands on experience in a laboratory environment (desirable)
Ability to prioritise work in order to meet daily deadlines
Capacity to work effectively as part of a team
Experience in a fast paced environment with a strong customer focus


Safety is an absolute. Ongoing Drug & ******* testing and the ability to meet site inductions will be a requirement of working on site.
