Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Digital Signal Processing Engineer to join our team at KPIT Technologies Limited. As an expert in audio processing and digital signal processing, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining audio firmware and device drivers for Android-based systems.
About the Job
In this role, you will work with ALSA and QNX Sound Architecture, implementing audio algorithms such as Equalizer, delay, and post-processing. You will also utilize DSP RTOS and computer architecture-related concepts like caching, DMA, and MMU to optimize audio performance.
Your Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain high-quality audio firmware and device drivers for Android-based systems
• Implement audio algorithms such as Equalizer, delay, and post-processing using ALSA and QNX Sound Architecture
• Utilize DSP RTOS and computer architecture-related concepts to optimize audio performance
• Develop and optimize audio firmware for Xtensa DSP architecture
Requirements
• Strong technical skills in audio processing, digital signal processing, and computer architecture
• Hands-on experience with audio firmware development and device driver implementation
• Knowledge of ALSA and QNX Sound Architecture, Xtensan architecture, and Assembly coding
• Good understanding of Android architecture and internals (AOSP, Binder IPC, HAL & Native services)
