Job brief
We are looking for an Android Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits. This Android app developer will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications. Android programming works closely with other app development and technical teams.
Responsibilities
• 3 plus years of Solid hands-on experience in developing android native apps.
• Must have good knowledge on multi-threading on Android platform.
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Must be able to connect to external services via XML/JSON.
• Strong experience in Core Java, OOPs concepts & design patterns
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Practical experience in applying OOPs techniques and design patterns in everyday coding.
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Experience with databases like SQLite and key-value storages
• Experience in MVVM design pattern is must.
• Hands-on Experience on kotlin and room database will be an addon.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
