Android Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Android Developer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in building and maintaining high-quality applications for Android devices. The Android Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative features, optimizing performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class user experiences.

Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and enhance Android applications using Kotlin, Java, and other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
• Work with back-end developers to integrate RESTful APIs and sockets, ensuring seamless communication between Android applications and back-end services.
• Implement robust offline storage solutions, as well as optimize threading and performance tuning.
• Utilize cloud message APIs, push notifications, location services, and accelerometer sensors to create engaging user experiences.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the Android ecosystem.
• Leverage open-source libraries and resources to streamline development processes and improve efficiency.
• Conduct benchmarking and optimization activities to ensure optimal app performance.
• Integrate continuous integration tools and processes to maintain code quality and reduce development time.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in existing applications, ensuring their stability and reliability.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as an Android Developer, with a strong portfolio of published applications.
• Proficient in Kotlin and Java, with a strong understanding of the Android SDK.
• Experience with Flutter/Dart is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs, push notifications, location services, and accelerometer sensors.
• Extensive experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to work with RESTful APIs and sockets to integrate Android applications with back-end services.
• In-depth knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and libraries available for common tasks.
• Familiarity with continuous integration tools and processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a knack for benchmarking and optimization.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
