Android Developer

As an Android developer, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain Android applications. You will be responsible for ensuring that the applications you build are efficient, responsive, and user-friendly. Responsibilities:

Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Work with outside data sources and APIs
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes

Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services

Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

Experience with Kotlin or Java programming languages

Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes

Experience:

1+ years of experience in Android application development

Experience with Android architecture components such as Room, Live Data, View Model, and Data Binding

Experience with Android Jetpack libraries such as Navigation, Paging, and Work Manager

Experience with Material Design, Material Components, and responsive UI design

Experience with third-party libraries and APIs such as Retrofit, Ok Http, Glide, and Firebase

Experience with debugging, profiling, and optimizing Android applications

Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
