Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of Android applications. You should have a strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes. You should also be familiar with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work with outside data sources and APIs.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 1+ years of experience in Android app development.
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
- Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
- Proficient in Java OR Kotlin.
- Familiarity with Git version control.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
