Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented individual to fill 12-month parental leave role of APAC Graphic Designer from our office in Mumbai, India. This position reports directly to the Digital & Social Media Supervisor, APAC who is located in Singapore and is part of the larger APAC Marketing Team. The purpose of the position is to consult with local marketing teams within the region (India Australia, Japan, New Zealand and Southeast Asia) to provide Wahl's visual outlook through online and offline platforms across our Professional, Consumer and Animal categories. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Craft and communicate our brand image by creating content for digital and social, as well as print media channels • Create marketing design templates • Develop packaging artworks from concept to finished art, from existing families of products to new added ranges • Create digital mock-ups of products and all the digital assets required, such as product images, lifestyle images, and features images • Create and manage high level video content for all three categories (Pro, Consumer and Pet) from consultation, brainstorm, production, editing • Content creation for social media, including static tiles, animated gifs, videos, shorts, and reels • Design a wide range of digital communication collateral including but not limited to EDMs, newsletters, digital banners, landing pages and more • Design a wide range of hard copy communication collateral including but not limited to flyers, pamphlets, catalogues, magazines and more • 3D modelling and rendering on designs for instore displays, events, products and various other materials as required • Create and finalise designs for expos and shows booths, including but not limited to backdrops, banners, posters and displays. • Create and finalise designs for in-store POSs, including but not limited to displays, shelf talkers, wobblers, posters, and stickers. • Take initiative on allocated projects • Work with Sales, Product and all marketing team members on projects to ensure creation of meaningful material • Contributes to all campaigns and projects - new and existing • Maintain electronic document register for all graphic design masters COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS: • Action Orientated • Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm • Collaborates • Build partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives. • Optimizes Work Process • Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement. • Demonstrates Self Awareness • Using a combination of feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into personal strengths and weaknesses. • Values difference • Recognises the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to the organisation. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: • Qualifications in Graphic Design or another related field that has transferrable experience • Certification in Video Content creation and design • Certification in 3D modelling • Project Management certificate/diploma preferred but not essential SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: • Highly experienced within a Graphic Design role or similar • Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite - with particular skills in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator • Highly proficient in video production and editing skills (Premiere Pro and After Effects) • Understanding of lighting and sound in video production • Proficient in 3D modelling and rendering to realistically portrait conceptual ideas • Resourceful with an upbeat "can do" positive attitude • Self-motivated and shows initiative • Effective time management skills to handle multiples projects simultaneously • Highly organised with strong attention to detail • Able to work on your own and as part of a team (proactive and autonomous) • Creative and able to think outside the box • Able to take our consumers on a journey through our advertising • Strives to learn and growth within the personal development field • Solid understanding in online copy-writing skills • Good understanding of the online/social media universe to create meaningful online content • Ability to develop, translate and leverage strategic messages for marketing communications • Ability to confidently present creative ideas and concepts to the team • Able to take a project from start to finish from a design perspective (project management skills
