Artifex HR is hiring for a French Apparel Manufacturing company in Chennai.

Job Description :

The Artist Manager is an individual who have talent for apparel design and the knowledge of latest

fashion (international / domestic) trends. A person who sees an exciting opportunity in a highly

competitive industry where the most talented professionals exist, stay long, and develop themselves. Is a person who has determination and talent for a career in the fashion industry, then one should have :

Managerial Responsibilities :

Assesses and trains departmental supervisors.

Oversees the daily workflow and schedules of the department.

Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.

Handles discipline of employees in accordance with company policy.

Understand clients’ needs and provide clear instruction to creatives.

Conceptualize and sketch design plans. Determine cost of completion and project requirements

in the budgeting phase.

Set a timeline for the completion of the project.

Monitoring and recording the artists at every stage of the design.

Handing over to the production - the final artwork pattern after thorough check.

Following with the production in the initial stage if the final product is meeting all client needs.

Updating the library on regular basis.

Review and approve the works of creatives, drawing, printing, skits, graphics & photography.

Required Skills / Abilities :

Good & active listening to quickly understand ideas & concepts of clients.

Comfortable with risk taking by trying new concepts to create masterpiece.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Portfolio of design work.

Project management experience.

Highly creative, imaginative, and artistic.

Excellent communication skills, especially regarding communicating an artistic vision.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Illustrator, SketchUp or similar design software.

Desire and Ability to Travel.

Pattern making, Love of Art and Creation

Willingness to Start at the Bottom

Interest in All-Things Fashion.

Select the visual and design elements for a project to meet client need.

Leading team members & terms of creativity.

Education and Experience :

Bachelor’s degree in fashion design or related field required.

Candidate with more than 10 to 15 years of experience in similar industry and relevant position

required.

Extensive work experience as graphic designer, art or design related.

Work Location - Tiruvallur (Chennai)

CTC - Up to 20 LPA
