Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute the build out for a large Digital Transformation project.
Design, develop, and implement applications using the Appian platform to meet business requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Appian applications with other systems and platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and deployment plans.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Stay up to date with Appian best practices, new features, and industry trends to continuously improve development processes.
Develop and implement APIs and web services for integration with external systems.
Provide training and support to end-users as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Appian Developer with a strong understanding of the Appian platform and its capabilities.
Proficiency in Appian development tools, including Appian Designer, Appian Records, and Appian RPA.
Experience with BPM methodologies and best practices.
Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL, Oracle) and web services (REST/SOAP).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Senior Appian Developer certification or higher is a plus.
Skills in Appian 1+.x, Appian 20.x, 21.X and above, Database, Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL, Web Services, SOAP/REST, HTML, XML, JSON, JIRA, Confluence, Rally, Appian Sites, Appian Records, UX design, SAML, OAuth Framework.
Experience in leading application support engagement, monitoring, tracking progress, reporting with metrics, ensuring application performance and availability.
Experience with system integration, mobile applications, portal applications, and extended interface applications development and production support using the Appian suite.
Appian L2 (or above) certification is a must.
Experience in production application support and development, strong problem solving and design skills, hands-on experience with Incident Management, Problem Management, Appian development, good understanding of Appian architecture, best practices, and BPMN standards.
Experience with relational database management systems, data modeling, database design, and Structured Query Language (SQL).
