Are you an experienced healthcare administrator looking for a challenging but rewarding, service-orientated role at our Referral & Appointment Centre?
We are looking for skilled administrator who pride themselves in their customer service abilities to join our close-knit Referral & Appointment Centre admin team. The role supports our Counties Manukau clinical services in managing their patient referrals, first specialist appointments and elective surgical bookings. If you like working in a fast paced, process-oriented role and take pride in your ‘Attention to Detail’ abilities, then you exactly are what we are looking for!
We currently have a full time fixed term position until September 2025 available, working Monday to Sunday and based at 15 Lambie Drive in Manukau City. You will need to be flexible to move to other areas/locations within Counties Manukau as required.
As well as communicating with our patient and whanau community, you will be working closely with clinicians, nurses, managers, and relevant teams involved in patient care.
It is essential you have:
Expert communications skills both verbal and written
Excellent time management & interpersonal ability
2+ years minimum experience in customer focussed administration, preferably healthcare
Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite and a quick learner of IT applications
Confidence in use of, and a quick learner of digital software applications
Experience working within a large & diverse team
