The Role
The Strategic High Frequency Communications (SHFC) Program is responsible for the provision of the Defence High Frequency Communications System (DHFCS) capability to the Joint Capability Group Capability Manager. Capability is provided through Sustainment under CJC10, and enhancement under the JP+101PH1 Project. The Sustainment Cell Support position is responsible to the Sustainment Cell Lead to provide ILS to the current DHFCS under the Contract (Support). The Sustainment Cell Support position responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Assist with disposal activities, loans, stocktaking and the asset register.
Provide purchasing support, using the Defence Purchasing Card.
Assist with provision of Contractor travel bookings, using the Defence Travel Card.
Provide feedback and assist with the review of ILS related Contract (Support) deliverables, as directed by the Sustainment Cell Lead or the ILS Manager.
Actively engage with the ERP rollout and complete any required training.

Maritime Communications Modernisation;
The Naval and Shore Communications Sustainment Management Office (NSCSMO) and
The Naval Communication Station Harold E Holt at Exmouth WA, command, and control warfare systems for the Australian Defence Force across the country and in operational theatres overseas.
