The Role
As an APS6 Complex Case Analyst, you will undertake the following tasks:
Work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes for complex case management and stakeholders.
Apply legislation against complex cases and translate this into risk management practices.
Undertake analysis of complex cases against policy, procedures and all relevant data sources to identify risks and potential mitigations.
Contribute to the ongoing development of risk management and mitigation processes.
Make recommendations to the delegate clearly and concisely articulating relevant factors.
Demonstrate sound judgement in implementing the procedural fairness process.
Mentor less experienced staff in understanding and analysing complex case processes.
Identify and respond to stakeholder information and records management requests.
Manage records in accordance with relevant legislation and Defence policies and procedures.
Engage with relevant stakeholders to achieve best practice.
About our Team
Security Policy and Services Branch is looking to welcome motivated individuals to support the analysis of complex foreign work authorisation (FWA) requests under the Safeguarding Australia’s Military Secrets framework. The branch is looking for a number of APS6 Complex Case Analysts to assess complex FWA requests and make recommendations to the delegate based on best security practice.
