We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vertica developer to join our team. As a Vertica developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our Vertica database. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and implement solutions, optimizing performance and ensuring data integrity. Responsibilities
• Develop and optimize Vertica database schemas, tables, and indexes.
• Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into Vertica.
• Collaborate with data architects and software engineers to ensure Vertica database integration with existing systems.
• Develop and maintain SQL scripts and procedures to support business reporting and analytics needs.
• Monitor and optimize Vertica query performance, making recommendations for performance tuning and optimization.
• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and cleansing processes.
• Collaborate with the data engineering team to identify and resolve data quality Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Vertica developer.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
• Experience in Vertica database administration and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Experience with ETL tools and processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
