Job Description
We are seeking a CAD/Revit Detailer with at least 5 years of professional experience producing construction documentation in hi end residential architecture or Hi end hospitality. The role is ideal for a highly skilled professional with advanced Revit and AutoCAD expertise who can take responsibility for producing and coordinating accurate technical construction drawings across residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. This is a production-focused role, and candidates must have substantial experience preparing full CD sets for built or building projects. This position requires initiative, problem-solving, and the ability to work independently in support of our architects and designers.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare, develop, and coordinate detailed construction drawings and technical documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Manage and maintain project Revit models to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to office standards.
• Translate design concepts into precise documentation that supports investigation, evaluation, and execution of project solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and consultants to resolve technical and coordination challenges.
• Integrate consultant drawings and manage multidisciplinary documentation sets.
• Apply advanced knowledge of construction methods, materials, millwork, and finishes to produce buildable, high-quality details.
• Review drawings for compliance with codes, ADA, and permitting requirements.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and contribute to the development of drafting standards.
• Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of full-time drafting/documentation experience in an architecture or interior design office (academic or internship work will not be considered).
• Based in New York City and available to work in the office.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong track record producing construction documentation across residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
• Deep knowledge of detailing, materials, millwork, finishes, and construction methods.
• Familiarity with codes, permitting processes, and ADA requirements.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines while coordinating with multiple team members.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Architectural license is not required.
• Preferred Skills
• Experience with BIM 360 or other project collaboration platforms.
• Knowledge of FF&E documentation and hospitality project standards.
